Toss T20 World Cup 2024 final
After the captains of both the teams entered the field for the toss, the coin was tossed in the air, South Africa won the toss and decided to field first. After the toss, The national anthems of both teams were played.
Kiwi’s Opening.
New Zealand’s opening pair of Bates and Plummer came in.
Batting first, Kiwi,s lost 5 wickets in 20 overs and set a target of 158 to South Africa. In reply, South Africa lost 9 wickets and made 126 runs in 20 overs.
Fall’s of wickets in Final
1. Kiwi’s first wicket fell for 16 runs. Plimmer made 7 runs off 9 balls. he was doing great but was caught in the middle.
2. There second wicket fell on 53 runs. Bates scored 31 runs off 32 balls and bowled Mlaba cleanly.
3. New Zealand’s third wicket fell in the shape of Devine on 70 runs. She scored 8 runs in 6 balls and got a LBW on De Klerk’s balls.
4. On 127 runs, Brooke Halliday, The fourth player of the white girls, Scored 38 runs off 28 balls and was caught out while playing the ball of Tryon and the fifth wicket fell on 141 runs. Amelia kerr was caught out playing a bad ball from and scored 43 runs off 38 balls and was his team’s top scorer.
On behalf of South Africa, Mlaba took 2 wickets, Khaka, Klerk and Tryon managed to get one wickets.

Brits and wolvaardt gave the Africans a good opening partnership. Both the players together reached the score of 50 runs in the seventh over.
But this partnership could not play for long and the first wicket fell on the score of 51.
Nanzeb Peters scored 17 runs off 18 balls and was caught out playing a bad ball from Jones.
On the score of 59 runs, Amelia Kerr guided the second African player to the pavilion.
After the dismissal of both the openers, the South African team looked helpless in front of White girl’s and wickets started falling one after the other.
Thus, the African team failed to reach Kiwi’s score and could only make 126 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted overs.
On behalf of New Zealand, Amelia Kerr and Mari showed the best bowling and both got 3,3 wickets.
The white girls won the match by 32 runs and became the champions of the ICC Women’s World Cup.
