Police fired tear gas on PTI workers to stop the protest in Islamabad. 500 PTI workers and including Amir Dogar, Zain Qureshi, arrested from Multan for violating Section 144.

Police and PTI activists face to face in Sargodha, activists pelted stones on police, police fired tear gas in response.

The PTI workers forced the Punjab police to drive away and the policemen fled leaving behind their belongings.

Bushra Bibi gave a brief address to the workers at Brutha Bridge and said, “Everyone leave for Islamabad, we have to release Imran Khan and come back.”

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi openly told that the government is not, afraid of anyone who violates the law and will be arrested.

Mohsin Naqvi said that people are not coming from any cities of the country to protest, only protesters are coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

190 billion loss to the federation

Due to PTI’s protest, the federation suffered a loss of 190 billion in a day, DGP lost 144 billion and exports 26 billion, and foreign investment 3 billion.

17 billion loss in IT and telecom sector.

PTI Protest Flop, Goverment In Action

The government has placed containers on the entrance and exit routes of Islamabad and Lahore to stop the PTI protests. Rangers and heavy police force deployed on various highways of Islamabad and Lahore to stop the convoys.

Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal’s news conference

Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal said in a news conference the closure. Roads done for the safety of the people, evil-doers will not allow to spread chaos in the country.

Mobile phone internet service affected

Due to PTI protest, mobile internet service has been suspended in many cities of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Service has been stopped in various cities in Islamabad and Karachi as well, citizens are worried. Read more
